OVERVIEW

The proposed residence aims to create an ephemeral interior space constructed of nothing but light. The spatial elements such as walls and columns will be constructed (or implied) by various light sources. All the lights will be controlled and programmed by the resident via remote computers. Fog hazers situated under a permeable floor will provide odorless sea mist like fog that will accentuate the solidness of the light. As lights are dimmed or fog subsides, the quality of light will fluctuate. As bodies move through the space, light is interrupted and the configuration of the space is distorted. In this way, the space can never be captured in two-dimensional media because it is constantly changing with the activation of occupant activity.
